Role Overview
Ackermans is looking for motivated individuals to join our team as Shop Assistants / Cashiers (P27). This role is key in delivering an exceptional shopping experience by assisting with stock replenishment, merchandising, housekeeping, and efficient transaction processing at till points.

Key Responsibilities
Customer Service:
- Provide excellent service to give customers a fantastic shopping experience.
- Help customers find the products they need.
- Address customer queries and complaints professionally.
Cashier Duties:
- Process cash and card payments.
- Handle Lay Bys and refunds.
- Report discrepancies to the supervisor.
- Balance the till at the end of the day.
Merchandising:
- Ensure stock is correctly priced and displayed.
- Maintain product availability on the sales floor.
- Keep up with housekeeping and promotions.
Risk Management:
- Tag products according to company policy.
- Participate in stock takes.
- Be alert for shoplifting or fraudulent activities and report any suspicious behavior to management.

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
- Customer Service Skills: Ability to provide excellent customer service.
- Communication Skills: Fluent in English (additional languages are beneficial).
