AFGRI Equipment is Recruiting for a Picker and Packer

AFGRI Equipment is looking for a qualified Picker and Packer to be based in Pomona, JHB East. This role involves accurately identifying, picking, and moving stock for dispatch and assisting with stock-taking and replenishment.

Closing date: 13 September 2034

Location: JHB East Rand

Description

Identify and move stock to dispatch as per document as prescribed and assist with stock taking and replenishment of stock

Requirements

REQUIRED MINIMUM EDUCATION/TRAINING    

  • Grade 12

REQUIRED MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE            

  • Numeracy skills
  • Basic verbal and written communication skills

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS         

  • Accurately pick stock as per picking slips and ensure timely delivery to the dispatch area.
  • Notify the warehouse manager if stock is unavailable.
  • Assist with loading equipment and parts onto client vehicles.
  • Verify that packed stock corresponds with the picking slip details.
  • Ensure all packages are packed according to company policies and procedures.
  • Participate in stock-taking activities.
  • Assist in investigating stock discrepancies and replenishing stock.
  • tock parts received from the receiving area.
  • Maintain a clean and tidy workspace in adherence to health and safety regulations.

TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE/ COMPETENCIES          

  • Able to read and write
  • Basic computer literacy (MS Office)
