Ampath is currently recruiting for Technician Learnerships based in Centurion and inviting interested and qualifying candidates to apply.

Closing date: 13 September 2024

Location: Centurion

Purpose of Position:To process specimens according to the set criteria and standards on all benches in the microbiology laboratory.

Requirements:Grade 12 with English, Biology (Life Sciences) and Mathematics (Required), HPCSA Registration in Relevant Register and Practice Field (Required)

Required Experience:Experiential training in a training laboratory, Knowledge: Ampath Microbiology document system, Knowledge: HPCSA regulations, Knowledge: Occupational Health and Safety Act (OSHA)

Key Responsibilities:Maintain good client relations to promote the image of Ampath, Perform general tasks order to assist with maintaining best practice within the laboratory, Perform receiving and resulting tasks on the Meditech System in order to ensure correct handling, preparing and recording of specimens and results., Process specimens on benches in order to ensure sufficient delivery of results
