The incumbent reports to the Assistant Representative in FAO Brazil – Programme.
Technical Focus
Study aimed at subsidizing the General Coordination of the Crop Guarantee in the evaluation of the compliance of the municipal public managers and the designated inspection technicians, according to the guidelines established in Ordinance No. 42, of December 7, 2012, presenting detailed analyses and proposing improvement mechanisms to optimize the procedures for evaluating production losses within the scope of the Crop Guarantee Program.
Tasks and Responsibilities
• Perform documentary analysis and review of Ordinance No. 42/2012 and other normative documents relevant to the understanding of the established requirements and procedures;
• Perform analysis of the documents posted in the Crop Guarantee Management System (SGGS) sent by municipal public managers and inspection technicians to verify compliance with the guidelines established in the legislation;
• Perform analysis of these documents generating data on the application and compliance with these regulations in the different municipalities adhered to identify trends, gaps and areas for improvement;
• Perform technical analysis on regulatory best practices and ways to improve the program;
• Identify the strengths and weaknesses of this standard, along with specific recommendations for its improvement;
• Prepare a proposal to be presented to the Crop Guarantee Management Committee, with regard to the improvement of this regulation;
• Participate in seminars, workshops, meetings and meetings on topics related to family farming, Crop Guarantee;
• Participate in meetings and present the partial and final results of the products, when requested by SAF/MDA managers;
• To provide technical support for the actions developed on the subject of consulting with the agencies involved.
CANDIDATES WILL BE ASSESSED AGAINST THE FOLLOWING:
Minimum Requirements
• University Degree in Agricultural Sciences, according to the table of areas of knowledge of CAPES/CNPq.
• Minimum experience of 08 (eight) years in projects, programs and public policies aimed at family farming
• Working knowledge (level C) of English or Spanish and Portuguese;
• National of Brazil or resident of the country with valid work permit
