,As a Data Analyst I, you will analyze complex data sets to provide actionable insights. Your analytical skills will contribute to data-driven decision-making and business growth. Your work will directly impact strategic planning and operational efficiency.

Location: Johannesburg
 

Responsibilities
 

  • Defining the customer’s data problems (dashboards / reports / product analysis / KPI’s.
  • Determining data plan and communicate with the team.
  • Identifying data sources (databases, files, interfaces) and data aggregations
  • Creating specifications and work with data engineers to create ETL processes.
  • Cleaning data (data correction, normalization, standardization)
  • Creating reports and visualizations (create views and filters for data)
  • Using various data workflow management and analysis tools

Requirements
 

  • Recently graduated or currently completing a bachelor’s in software engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, BCom or related field.
  • Have knowledge of various data types and formats, including but not limited to XML, flat files, delimited, etc.
  • Possess knowledge of data analysis tools and processes.
  • Display understanding of data modelling principles, data manipulation languages and storage systems.
