Sales Operations Intern at Siemens Energy
They will have the opportunity to work on several already established projects on the continent and learn the structure and process that goes behind the development of Sales projects in Siemens Energy Gas Services. The candidate will be working in a supportive team environment with an open feedback culture. Working with a diversified & knowledgeable team from all over the world.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Execute market deep dive for O&G focus countries in Africa.
- Identification of O&G Go-to-Market and Partnering structures in Africa
- Execute O&G competitor analysis, marketing, and social media analysis.
- Developments of Exploration and Production activities (timeline/schedules) as well as Downstream investments in Africa
- References Overview in Africa
Update Power Generation Country Profiles
- heck on Country specific electrification roadmaps.
- Local Decarbonization programs and policies
- Update on existing country profiles.
Africa Competitor & Customer Intelligence
- Analyses and Documentation incl. Win/Loss support
- CRM and competitive strategy development
- Support Marketing planning and execution
- Special projects (analysis, presentation preparation, information management, intelligence support, cross-regional, cross-BA, ….
- Support in Sales Force (CRM-Tool)
- Data quality checks
- Reporting support
What You Bring
University diploma/degree – Business Administration, Economics, Engineering or Marketing
Experience – first experiences in Strategy, Sales & Marketing or Business Development activities, basic touchpoint to market & business planning
- Proven track record in self-reliant, pro-active role in project work
- First experiences in the Energy and Power Generation industry
- Strength in team collaboration, communication – including senior management interaction
- Above average ability to work with numbers, data visualization and related IT tools
- A growth and learner’s mindset. You are not worried or afraid of dealing with a task you will do for the first time. However, you do not shy away from asking for help if you need help.
- The desire to deliver quality results being shared across the organization.
Gas Services
Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
