Internship Overview
This research internship offers a unique chance for aspiring human rights advocates and researchers to gain practical experience in the global anti-slavery movement. Conducted entirely remotely, the part-time internship provides hands-on involvement in research activities related to anti-slavery programs and policies. Interns will receive mentorship directly from senior staff, allowing them to deepen their understanding of international human rights work while contributing to meaningful projects.

Key Responsibilities
Interns will assist with analyzing interview data from a research project based in Antigua and Barbuda, utilizing specialized software provided by FTS. They will review and synthesize secondary data sources, identifying key findings and actionable insights to support ongoing projects.

Additional responsibilities include supporting research activities across various regional offices, participating in weekly meetings with the Senior Program Manager for Research, and helping disseminate research findings through workshops, webinars, and presentations. Ideal Candidate Profile
The internship is suited for recent graduates or current graduate students studying law, public policy, international relations, human rights, or related fields. Candidates should demonstrate fluency in English, both spoken and written, with proficiency in French or Spanish considered an asset.

Applicants should have prior experience with research methodologies, particularly in collecting, analyzing, and synthesizing primary and secondary data. Strong communication skills, both written and oral, are essential for presenting complex information clearly to diverse audiences.
