Appollis, Saleng, Tau, Salum are on the move, can Kaizer Chiefs sign any of these players?

Once again, all eyes are on Kaizer Chiefs to sign new players during this transfer window.

Amakhosi brought in seven new players before the start of this season hoping to contest for top honours. With new coach Nasreddine Nabi bringing his technical team, many Khosi fans believed this could be the year the club returned to its glory days. Despite a good start to the season, Amakhosi has been inconsistent most of the time.

Kaizer Chiefs looking to bring quality players to Naturena

The club is currently seventh in the Betway Premiership having registered just four wins in their 10 matches. Under Nabi, Cheifs have heavily relied on youngsters this season, with the likes of Mduduzi Shabalala, Mfundo Vilakazi, Samkelo Zwane and Rushwin Dortely impressing.

With the transfer window now open, Kaizer Chiefs has the opportunity to bring in new players. Some of the players the club has been linked with include Oswin Appollis, Percy Tau and Feisal Salum. All three players are attack-minded and might be the injection Nabi needs to rejuvenate his team.

Congolese striker Fiston Mayele has been linked with Amakhosi for several months. If there’s one position that the club desperately need to strengthen, is their striking department. Both Ranga Chivaviro and Ashley Du Preez have been less than convincing this season.

If Kaizer Chiefs are to finish in the top three, they need to bring in more quality players. So far, Nabi’s team have been average but a few new experienced players might make a difference to their season.
