Key Responsibilities

Stock Management

  • Receive, unpack, and replenish merchandise on the sales floor.
  • Monitor stock levels, minimizing risks like stock loss through defined processes.
  • Maintain an organized and clean stockroom.
  • Authorize product write-offs, breakages, recalls, and returns.

Sales Growth & Profitability

  • Analyse sales and profitability reports to identify areas for improvement.
  • Work with management to develop and implement operational action plans.
  • Review product performance and provide feedback to the support centre.
  • Identify and propose opportunities to increase sales and brand visibility.

Risk Management

  • Conduct regular compliance checks to enforce adherence to company policies.

Customer Experience Management

  • Implement and maintain customer experience processes to meet and exceed standards.

Leadership & Team Development

  • Lead and inspire the store team to achieve KPIs and align with the company’s values.
  • Identify training, coaching, and development opportunities to support team growth.
  • Oversee recruitment and manage performance in accordance with company policies.

Qualifications & Skills Required

  • Education: Grade 12 qualification.
  • Experience: 2–3 years in a Supervisory/Assistant Store Management role.
  • Skills & Knowledge:
    • Sales and service management.
    • Budgeting and financial planning.
    • Retail trade and brand management.
    • Strong communication skills.
    • Proficiency in MS Office.
