Barron is currently looking for a Packer and inviting interested and qualifying candidates to apply
Closing date: 25 July 2024
Location: Edenvale, Gauteng
Job Purpose:
The purpose of the Packer is to double check completed orders and check if the picked products correspond with the customer’s order in terms of item, colour, quantity and quality.
Double Checking
- Receive picked order from the Picker and double check that the items correspond with the order by checking size, quantity, colour and quality
- Pack order according to company standards and close with brown Barron tape after confirmation
- Weigh the box, print the sticker and place both sticker and picking slip on the box
- Escalate discrepancies to the Packing Team Leader
Housekeeping
- Apply basic housekeeping principles to ensure that the workstation is tidy.
Qualifications and Experience:
- NQF 3 – Grade 11 or equivalent (Essential)
- NQF 4 – Matric or equivalent (Desirable)
- 6 to 12 months experience as a Warehouse Packer in corporate clothing industry
- Required to differentiate between colours
