On Sunday, a day before the opening show, Beyoncé’s official Cowboy Carter merchandise truck rolled up outside SoFi Stadium, preparing for a rush of fans when it opens Monday afternoon. Some devoted fans had already begun gathering outside, eager to catch a glimpse of the truck and be among the first to get their hands on exclusive tour merch.”We just came out here to see the merch truck and feel the vibes before tomorrow’s show,” says Cory Hall, who stopped by SoFi with his friend. “We’re super excited to see the queen slay.”
Hall’s friend travelled all the way from Beyoncé’s hometown of Houston to be part of the monumental opening night. The two plan to arrive at SoFi Stadium at the crack of dawn Monday to secure a prime spot in line and soak in the full experience of the event. And they weren’t alone. Fans from across the globe — including Japan, Sweden, and Brazil — have also journeyed thousands of miles to be here.
“I came all the way from Brazil just to see Beyoncé,” said Alessandro Marques, beaming with excitement. “I’m actually going to two nights in London, but I knew I had to be here for opening night first. There’s something special about witnessing that first show.”The atmosphere around SoFi has already begun to buzz with energy as fans swap stories, compare outfits, and speculate about what surprises Beyoncé might have in store for the big night.
