Caracal spotted in Newlands Forest – WATCH

The Urban Caracal Project uploaded a video to their social media pages on Wednesday showing a caracal in Newlands Forest in Cape Town.

The video was first uploaded as an Instagram story by well-known South African trail runner, Daniel Claassen.

Tragically, as reported by The South African website in May 2023, the Urban Caracal Project confirmed the death of iconic caracal Hermes after he was hit by a car.
