What You’ll Be Responsible For
As an Assistant Store Manager, you will play a key role in making sure the store runs smoothly. From boosting sales to managing inventory, your job will be to create a top-performing retail environment where both customers and employees thrive!
Store Operations & Sales
Achieve store sales targets and maximize income streams (Add-ons, GP, etc.)
Improve store performance through smart strategies
Implement marketing campaigns to attract new customers
Make sure the store looks great with effective merchandising standards
Build and retain a loyal customer base
Inventory Management
Keep track of stock levels and ensure everything is accounted for
Manage incoming and outgoing stock to prevent losses
Ensure proper handling and storage of all products
Customer Service Excellence
Make sure customers receive exceptional service at all times
Review mystery shopper reports and identify areas for improvement
Resolve product and service-related complaints quickly and efficiently
Lead by example to ensure staff provide top-notch service
People & Team Management
Train and develop employees to improve skills and service
Plan for the future by identifying and grooming potential store leaders
Keep the team motivated and productive through effective performance management
Foster a positive work environment and maintain strong employee relations
Administration & Compliance
Make sure the store follows all company policies and procedures
Conduct cash-ups, safe checks, and alarm checks regularly
Keep admin files updated and organized
What You Need to Apply
To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you’ll need:
3 – 5 years of retail experience
Strong customer service skills
Knowledge of financial literacy and basic HR functions
Problem-solving skills to handle day-to-day challenges
Proven team leadership experience
Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment
