City of Cape Town is Recruiting for IT Junior Support Engineer – IT Service Desk Agent
(x3 Posts)

Closing date: 22 October 2024
Location: Cape Town, Western Cape

Requirements

  • Grade 12
  • Certification in ITIL Foundation V3
  • A+ and N+ Certification will serve as an advantage
  • Working knowledge of the following applications: SAP ITSM,
    Active Directory, SharePoint 2010/2016, Microsoft
    Operations Framework and Microsoft Office Suite,
    Office 365, MS Teams, One Drive
  • Minimum of 3 to 4 years’ experience working at an IT
    service desk
  • Own vehicle essential
  • 24/7 shift work

Key Performance Areas

  • Provide IT service to customers of the City of Cape Town
  • Analyse, evaluate and resolve technical IT related problems
  • Acting as the Single Point of Contact for all IT incidents
  • Accurately document all calls using a tracking system
  • Acting as Hardware and software support
  • Consistently and continuously provide quality service and
    support
  • Interact with team leaders to improve client service
