Confirmed Kaizer Chiefs target expected to make big move soon!

Kaizer Chiefs are clearly looking to leave no stone unturned in the current transfer window according to the latest!

Chiefs find themselves in sixth place in the Betway Premiership, needing recruitment to help change their fortunes in 2025.

Last week was filled with news that points at them working overtime in order to get things right. There were reports of talks and bids going in for some of the club and coach  Nasreddine Nabi’s top targets. That will sound like music to the ears of Chiefs supporters who, like their coach have been crying out for years about quality signings. Just this week alone, there has been movement in several pursuits from the Amakhosi camp. 

Chiefs interested in Mabuya

Last week Tuesday it was rumoured that Chiefs had began talks to sign former Switzerland youth international Ruben del Campo. The striker would be joining as a free agent from Canada’s Ottawa Atletico if Kaizer Motaung Jnr can convince him. Those news were followed up by news that Oswin Appollis was also subject of a bid. It is no secret that the Bafana Bafana international remains a prime target for the club. 

Another big target for Nabi is Feisal Salum of Azam FC. Last week Friday, reports came out that Chiefs had made a bid which was swiftly rejected by the Tanzanian club. Then it was confirmed by Richards Bay FC chairman Jomo Biyela that Amakhosi have approached him for his right back Sandile Mabuya.

Now according to Soccer-Laduma, Mabuya is set to leave Richards Bay for big move this window. Whether its Chiefs or not!

“There have been discussions about Mabuya and it looks like the parties are close to reaching an agreement because the player could be on his way out of Richards Bay, and that I can promise you. Chiefs is the one club that I know that has been interested in the player but at this stage I can’t promise you if that’s where he is going. But expect him to make a big move in the coming weeks,” said the source.
