Controversial Black Twitter (X) president Chris Excel changes profile picture after years of harassment toward influencer Bianca Coster
Controversial Black Twitter (X) president Chris Excel changes profile picture after years of harassment toward influencer Bianca Coster! After years of harassment, popular social media influencer Bianca Coster has finally seen a change—albeit a small one—from the infamous X (formerly Twitter) troll Chris Excel, who changed his profile picture after using her image without consent since 2020.
Chris Excel, an anonymous X user known for inflammatory and often derogatory posts, had used a photo of Bianca Coster as his profile image for years. Despite repeated requests from Bianca to stop, he refused—leading to significant public backlash and legal conversations about the implications of his actions.
Targeting a New Face
Earlier this week, following renewed criticism from Bianca, Chris Excel surprised his 3.3 million followers by finally changing his profile picture. However, rather than ending the saga, the troll photoshopped another South African man, Antony Teflon Ngele, into the same frame previously occupied by Bianca.
Neither Bianca Coster nor Antony Ngele has publicly responded to the change, but the act has sparked fresh controversy and reignited conversations around online impersonation and cyberbullying.
Bianca Speaks Out Again
In a recent TikTok video, Bianca Coster expressed her deep frustration and emotional toll after years of being associated with the account.
“Why couldn’t he use another picture? Why should I constantly shift and change my life to accommodate this Chris Excel person?” she asked.
Bianca explained that she is frequently misidentified in public and online, with people assuming she’s responsible for the content the troll posts. She shared how this has harmed her personal relationships and professional opportunities.
“It’s hovering over me. I can’t get away from it, and still, you guys come into my comments, insult me, and call me all sorts of names as if I deserve this,” she said.
No Consent, No Respect
Bianca emphasized that she had repeatedly asked Chris Excel to remove her image but was ignored. Her calls were not only personal pleas but were also rooted in a desire for safety and control over her identity.
“All I ask is for my picture to please not be used—respectfully and gracefully,” she said.
Legal Expert Weighs In
Legal expert Ulrich Roux told eNCA that Bianca Coster has every right to take legal action against Chris Excel, particularly under the Cybercrimes Act.
“This is a form of cyberbullying; it is an infringement of the Cyber Crimes Act and also a form of harassment,” Roux said.
He added that although the identity of Chris Excel remains unknown, it is possible to track him using IP addresses and digital forensic specialists. Once identified, Bianca could apply for a court interdict to stop him from using her image and further tarnishing her reputation.
“She is well within her rights to obtain interdictory relief against both X and Chris Excel,” Roux concluded.
