We are looking for a dependable and experienced Courier Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of packages to assigned locations, maintaining accurate records of deliveries, and providing excellent customer service during all interactions.

Job Responsibilities

The role of the Courier Driver involves the following duties and responsibilities to be fulfilled:

  • Deliver packages to customers, stores, service centers, and drop-off points with accurate documentation and correct stock.
  • Return undelivered stock, pickups, and items incorrectly loaded back to the service center.
  • Take full accountability for the stock, vehicle, and equipment under their care.
  • Interact with customers in a professional and customer-focused manner.
  • Manage tasks effectively, working both independently and as part of a team.

Required Knowledge

  • Familiarity with products and services.
  • Understanding of transportation principles.
  • Record-keeping and documentation.
  • Awareness of distribution safety and responsible care practices.
  • Strong geographical knowledge.
  • In-depth knowledge of Pepkor Lifestyle policies, practices, and systems.
  • Understanding of the Pepkor Lifestyle operational model.
  • Awareness of ethical responsibilities, both explicit and implied.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Grade 12 certificate.
  • Valid driver’s license with a PDP (Professional Driving Permit).
  • At least 3 years of experience as a driver in a courier environment.
