What We’re Looking For
We’re on the hunt for experienced Code 10 Drivers with a valid Professional Driving Permit (PDP) to join our dynamic team in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal. If you have a passion for driving and a proven track record, we want you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely transport employees and materials to various locations.
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle that meets company standards.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Follow all traffic laws and safety protocols.
- Assist with loading and unloading materials when needed.
- Ensure the security of valuable items during transport.
- Report any vehicle maintenance or safety issues to management.
- Keep detailed logs of vehicle maintenance, fuel usage, and trips.
- Support general office tasks as needed.
What You Need to Qualify
Education:
- Matric/High School Certificate.
Experience:
- At least 10 years of professional driving experience.
Licenses & Clearances:
- A valid Code 10 Driver’s License with an active PDP.
- A clean criminal record and a commitment to sobriety (no alcohol).
Skills:
- In-depth knowledge of traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Proficient with GPS and navigation tools.
- Ability to read and understand road signs and maps.
- Skilled in vehicle maintenance, including checking fluids, tire pressure, and brakes.
- Quick to identify and respond to road hazards.
