Minimum Requirements
Here’s what you’ll need to qualify for this role:
Education: Grade 10 / Standard 8 Certificate
Experience:
- Completed Training Programme (mandatory)
- Advantageous: 3 months Production experience (in a Plant / Mining environment)
- Advantageous: 6 months experience as a PTW on a trackless mine
Your Key Responsibilities
As a Production Team Worker, you’ll play a critical role in supporting the mine’s construction and production activities. Your duties will include:
Underground Construction: Carry out essential underground construction work to meet production goals.
General Production Support: Assist with pipe installation, painting, whitewashing side walls, building waiting areas, and ventilation systems.
Safety Inspections: Conduct safety checks to prevent malfunctions and ensure smooth operations.
Clean & Maintain Work Area: Keep the workspace clean using tools like rakes and shovels.
Pipe & Pump Installation: Install and operate PVC pipes and pumps while reporting any defects.
