📌 About the Job

Do you enjoy talking to people and helping them find the best products? If so, Edgars is looking for Sales Assistants to join their team! This is a full-time, fixed-term contract (3 months) position where you will work 8 hours per day with a flexible schedule.


Your job will be all about helping customersrecommending products, and processing sales transactions. You will also be responsible for increasing sales, hitting targets, and giving customers a great shopping experience.

🔍 What You’ll Be Doing

As a Sales Assistant, your job will involve:

🛍️ Helping Customers: Greeting shoppers, answering their questions, and suggesting the best products for their needs.
💰 Making Sales: Encouraging customers to buy, explaining promotions, and ensuring they have a great experience.
📞 Cold Calling & Store Visits: Contacting stores, negotiating orders, and selling products.
📊 Sales Reporting: Keeping track of weekly and monthly sales performance.
📦 Order Management: Placing orders, monitoring deliveries, and ensuring everything runs smoothly.
💡 Problem-Solving: Handling customer complaints and finding solutions to improve service.
🤝 Building Relationships: Working closely with store managers and maintaining strong business connections.
📝 Admin Work: Completing necessary paperwork and keeping track of sales records.

📝 Requirements – What You Need to Apply

To qualify for this job, you must have:

✔️ Matric Certificate (Grade 12)
✔️ Previous sales experience (at least 6 months)
✔️ Ability to communicate well in English
✔️ Live within 15km of the job location
✔️ A clear criminal record
✔️ A smartphone with at least 10GB of storage

💡 Bonus Skills (Not Required but a Plus!):

✨ Knowledge of sales and marketing
✨ Customer service experience
✨ Basic computer skills (MS Office)
✨ Strong communication and admin skills
