About eMedia Group Bursary

eMedia Group is currently accepting applications for 2025 academic year bursaries.

Bursaries will be awarded for studies within the following fields:

  • Animation
  • Digital Media Technology
  • Electronic Media
  • Film & Television and related qualifications
  • Graphic Design
  • Marketing
  • Media Research
  • Radio Production
  • Sound Engineering
  • Television Production

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

Applicants must satisfy the following minimum entry criteria before applying:

  • You must be a South African citizen
  • You must be between 17 and 35 years old
  • You must have completed Matric with a minimum overall average of 65%
  • You must be studying or intend on studying full-time towards a qualification in one of the fields listed above, in 2025
  • You must be studying or have been accepted / provisionally accepted to study at an accredited University in South Africa
  • You must be passionate about pursuing a career in the Media industry
  • You must have a total household income of less than R600 000 per annum
  • Students with disabilities are encouraged to apply
