Eskom is currently holding a vacant position for Snr Technical Official x15 Burgersfort , Groblersdal, Marble, Mamphokgo, Monsterlus, Ohrigstad, Rossennekal and Steelport 

Closing date: 17 September 2024
Location: South Africa (Limpopo)

Minimum Requirements
Qualification(s):

  • Artisan (dry trade): Trade certificate NQF4 with 120 credits
  •   Related Minimum Experience
  • Distribution Operating and Maintenance with Completed practical training.
  • Professional Registration Body:
  • Not Applicable.

  •Power plant specific transformers, auxiliary, switchgear theoretical knowledge at the required level

  •Emergency response and safety
  

•Basic health, safety, environment 
  •Tools and specialised equipment.
  •Low and high voltage systems up to 132kV
  •High voltage (HV), medium voltage (MV) and low voltage (LV) line construction 
  •Operating Regulations for High Voltage Systems (ORHVS) outcome 6 authorisation
  •Meter worker certification

  •Single phase tester
  •Crane operating
  •Mobile elevating platform operating
  •Auger drill operating
  •Rock drill operating

Skill

  •Public driver`s permit (PDP)
  •Valid driver’s licence (EC)
  •Safety management  
  •Basic workshop 
  •Communication 
  •Sound interpersonal relations
