Job Purpose
To control the implementation and maintenance of an Integrated Asset Management system and to provide an Asset Management service incorporating best practices, processes, systems, techniques and transferring of knowledge and skills to all relevant branches.
Key Responsibility Areas
•Plan all related maintenance work and assign the appropriate priority to all tasks.
•Plan project tasks.
•Co-ordinate the weekly planning meetings.
•Maintain asset management data.
•Compile, update and issue reports.
•Initiate and co-ordinate the updating of Standards/ Codes of Practice.
•Coach and train enterprise asset management systems users.
•Actively support and promote safety and accident prevention.
•Provide general staff management.
•Monitor and report financial performance against the Budget.
•Disseminates information.
•Accept appointment in terms of the Occupational Health & Safety Act (1993) and regulations as required by the Head Electricity.

•National Diploma (NQF Level 6) in Electrical Engineering (Heavy Current).
•Registered as a Professional Electrical Engineering Technician with the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA).
•Valid Basic First Aid certificate or to be completed within 6-12 months from date of appointment.
•Valid motor vehicle driving license.
•5 years relevant post registration experience to the Electricity Distribution or Transmission industry.
•Computer Literacy.
