,The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) is seeking a dynamic and dedicated Project Analyst to join its team remotely from Panama City, Panama. About the Role

As a Project Analyst within UNDP’s Bureau for Policy and Programme Support (BPPS), the successful candidate will play a vital role in advancing UNDP’s strategic priorities related to Nature, Climate, and Energy. The position involves supporting project management, coordinating initiatives across different regions, and fostering partnerships to mobilize resources. Working remotely, the analyst will liaise with global teams, contribute to knowledge sharing, and help implement innovative solutions that promote sustainable and inclusive growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Coordination & Management: Support the planning, execution, and monitoring of Food Systems projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with UNDP strategies. Organize meetings, prepare technical briefs, and assist in reporting activities.
• Resource Mobilization: Assist in identifying funding opportunities, developing proposals, and maintaining strong relationships with donors and partners. Contribute to fundraising strategies to support UNDP’s ambitious environmental and climate goals.
• Knowledge Sharing & Advocacy: Document best practices, organize workshops and events, and facilitate community engagement within Food Systems initiatives. Support communication efforts to amplify project impact and advocacy.
• Partnership Development: Build and sustain strategic alliances with governments, civil society, private sector entities, and international organizations to strengthen project outcomes.

Qualifications & Skills

Candidates should hold at least a Bachelor’s degree in International Development, Political Science, Management, Food and Agriculture, or related fields, with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience (or 2 years with a Master’s degree). Experience in project coordination, data analysis, and stakeholder engagement is essential. Familiarity with food systems, climate issues, and resource mobilization will be highly valued.

Fluency in English is mandatory, and knowledge of Spanish and/or French is desirable. The ideal applicant demonstrates strong communication skills, the ability to work independently, and a passion for advancing sustainable development agendas.
