Through desk research, interviews, and collaborative editorial efforts, the intern will contribute to articles published on the CIVICUS Lens platform, the State of Civil Society Report, and various thematic reports.

Areas of Responsibilities & Key Activities

The role encompasses several key areas that will equip the intern with a comprehensive understanding of research in the context of civil society:

Research:

    • Literature Review: The intern will be responsible for reviewing existing literature pertinent to the ongoing research projects. This step is crucial for establishing a foundation of knowledge and identifying gaps in current research.
    • Information Gathering: Utilizing online resources, the intern will gather and verify relevant information, ensuring a robust data set for analysis.
    • Interviews: The intern will identify and contact potential interviewees, conducting interviews to gather qualitative data. This includes transcribing and editing interviews to ensure clarity and accuracy.
