Job Summary 

Fidelity Group is currently seeking for a well qualified firefighter to join their strong team who will be responsible for all fire related incidents. The duties and responsibilities are listed below.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

•  Respond to fires, rescues and related emergency and non-emergency humanitarian incidents
• Responsible for responding to all incidents involving hazardous substances
• Operate a range of equipment to control, manage and extinguish fires
• Advise on preventative and corrective actions
• Perform basic level maintenance on all equipments to ensure they are ready to operate anytime
• Complete computerized occurrence log in order to maintain proper records for daily occurrences

Minimum Requirements

• Matric Certificate is vital
• IFSAC Accredited
• NFPA 1001 Firefighter 2 certificate
• Valid code C1 drivers license
• Clear criminal record
• Advanced driving experience is advantageous
• Basic Ambulance attendant
