Duties :
- Responsible for direct and/or indirect nursing care of a patient or group of patients and will function under the direct and/ or indirect supervision of the Registered Nurse. This includes caring for the patients , his possessions, documentation and the control and economical use of stock and equipment in the ward. Key work output and accountabilities. Always maintain professional conduct and standard in accordance with the SANC/Job Standard/Hospital policies. Promote and maintain good working and inter-personal relationships with management/patients/staff/ visitors /Doctors and colleagues. Co-ordinate nursing service activities with other departments. Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure the provision of comprehensive care to patients, Co-ordinate all working activities to accommodate normal hospital routine. Perform other departmentally related duties e.g. Reinforcing ADL. Provide total nursing care to patients undergoing physical rehabilitation treatment, including, eliminatory nursing, monitoring vital signs. Intake and output monitoring, urine testing. Assist with the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care plans. Maintain accurate and complete patient record. Participate in the education and support of patients and their families. Adhere to all infection control safety protocols.

Duties :
- Responsible for total patient care to all patients in the Hospital. (wound care, giving of medicine, intake and output etc). Educate and advise patients, including relatives and staff. Re-enforcing ADL in rehabilitation. Ensure efficient and effective management of resources. Rotate through service points as required. Willing to work over weekends and holidays and rotate in other units where the need arise. Maintain patient hygiene e.g. washing patients, mouth care and catheter care, bladder and bowel management (assist patients with elimination procedures). Assist with patient mobility and continue with rehabilitation procedures. Monitor, interpret and record vital signs. Prepare patients for diagnostic procedures. Oder stock and equipment as needed in a cost-effective manner. Assist Professional Nurses with clinical procedures. Quality nursing care and rehabilitation programme as directed by the Scope of Nursing practice. Have knowledge and interest to work in HCT and OPD. Able to act appropriately in an emergency situation. Be part of a team in managing patient. Be able to work within the multidisciplinary health team. Demonstrate effective communication with patients, supervisors, other professionals and junior colleagues, including report writing.

Duties :
