Job description
Be able to fulfil required roles and responsibilities as per skills (novice/ex miner).
Participate in Learning, demonstrate skills and be able to transfer those skills in the workplace.
Be able to communicate, give instructions and follow up on instructions given.
Demonstrate progress towards achievement of the training outcomes.
Comply with the relevant assessment requirements.
Follow a structured program, which contains on and off the job training.
Be actively involved in personal development and drive own development.
Carry out responsibilities as per type of work.
Work the required shift cycle as per operational requirement.
Ensure compliance with Health and Safety responsibilities.
Comply with provided rules, systems, practices, methods, standards and procedures of the Company.
Ensure and maintain effective communication.
Ensure that the objectives and targets for the shift is achieved.
Maintain Teamwork.
Live the values of the Company.
Minimum requirements
• The age limit will be 35 years for novices and 45 years for skilled candidates
• Grade 12 certificate and reference to the High School attended
• Ex miners: Valid Certificates of competence as per skill and record of service
• Must be a local citizen from the wards that host the Operation
• Letter from your ward councillor stating ward number /district
• Must be South African Citizen with valid proof of identity
• Water and light account as proof of residence/address verification cert from the ward councillor
• Proficient in English speaking
• Ability to pass an underground Certificate of Fitness
• Need to pass Security Screening (No fraud, theft or violence)
The following documentation need to be attached to your application:
CV with specific reference to the ward the candidate resides in
Address verification certificate or letter signed by the Ward Councillors
ID copy
Highest Education or any other qualification certificates / degrees
Other Skills training certificates (in the case of ex miners)
