Role Purpose
Requirements
- A National Senior Certificate is essential (Mathematics or Mathematical Literacy as a Grade 12 subject is advantageous)
- Tertiary qualification in business / office administration or related is desirable
- 1 – 2 Years’ experience as an Administrator / Data Capturer or equivalent is essential
- Experience in a client services environment would be an advantage
- MS Office / 365 proficiency is essential
Duties & Responsibilities
- Apply and enforce membership rules and mandates of the schemes, including eligibility and underwriting criteria, to ensure compliance and prevent financial risks associated with incorrect membership information.
- Capture and maintain precise and up-to-date membership details in alignment with departmental standards.
- Print and distribute membership welcome packs and cards according to weekly schedule.
- Resolve queries from members, employer groups, service providers, and the schemes promptly and professionally, fostering client retention and positive relationships.
- Contribute to meeting Service Level Agreement commitments by adhering to schedules, occupancy requirements, and delivering quality service to both internal and external stakeholders.
- Continuously develop expertise in professional, industry, and legislative knowledge to stay updated with relevant practices and contribute positively to change initiatives.
- Develop and maintain productive and collaborative working relationships with peers and stakeholders to facilitate effective communication and cooperation.
- Identify and recommend opportunities to enhance cost-effectiveness and increase operational efficiency within the membership administration area.
- Provide input into risk identification processes, communicating recommendations for risk mitigation in the appropriate forums.
