What Does a Temp Cashier Do?
As a Temp Cashier at Heineken, your role is to process cash transactions accurately, handle administrative duties, and provide excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
Process transactions accurately on the cash register
Manage cash sales and balance received payments
Verify invoices and scanned product lists for accuracy
File and control invoices to maintain proper records
Perform cash-ups and ensure accurate balancing of funds
Handle cash drops regularly and use the smart-box system correctly
Assist with stock control, stock take, and interim counts
Minimize stock losses by following company procedures
Promote new products to customers
Ensure excellent customer service at all times
Maintain a clean and safe work area following company regulations
Follow company policies and contribute to process improvements
This is a fast-paced role that requires accuracy, attention to detail, and strong communication skills!
Who Should Apply?
To qualify for this role, you must meet the following requirements:
Matric (Grade 12) Certificate
1-2 years of cash-handling experience
Computer literacy (MS Office, SAP is a plus!)
Valid Driver’s License (Code EC/PDP) – for delivery tasks
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Strong communication and presentation skills
