- Applications can be made through the completion of an Application for Transfer form obtainable from your Line Manager.
- An application for transfer should be discussed with your Line Manager before the application is sent.
- The Application for Transfer form should be sent to the relevant Regional People Partner (Monique Regter) AS SOON AS POSSIBLE, with a copy to your own Region’s People Partner.
- Since customer demand will determine the trading hours, you should be prepared and will be expected to work shifts as per the needs of the business.
- Seeing that there might be employees from the respective areas who are already working for Shoprite/Checkers, we believe that they should be the first to be considered for an opportunity to work closer to home.
- Please do not leave the impression with family and friends, who are not employees of Shoprite/Checkers that we are recruiting for the new Store, since our priority is to accommodate existing employees. All other applications will therefore be ignored until applications from existing employees have been considered. Only thereafter will CVs from external candidates be considered.
