📌 Position: Freezer Assistant
The successful candidate will assist with the daily operations of the freezer and storage areas. This role is suitable for someone who is physically fit, responsible and able to work effectively as part of a team.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Assist with receiving, moving and organising frozen products.
• Load and unload stock safely and efficiently.
• Arrange products neatly inside freezer and storage areas.
• Assist with picking and packing orders according to instructions.
• Check stock quantities and report shortages or damaged products.
• Maintain cleanliness and good housekeeping in the working area.
• Follow workplace health and safety procedures at all times.
• Handle frozen products carefully to prevent damage or wastage.
• Support warehouse staff and supervisors with general duties when required.
• Ensure products are stored correctly and efficiently.
Requirements
Applicants should be reliable, hardworking and willing to learn. The ability to work in a cold/freezer environment and perform physical duties is important. Good communication skills, punctuality and the ability to follow instructions will be an advantage.
Previous warehouse, freezer or food-handling experience may be beneficial, but applicants who are willing to learn are encouraged to apply.
