🍽️ KITCHEN ASSISTANT / KITCHEN STAFF WANTED
Are you hardworking, reliable, and interested in working in a busy kitchen environment? An opportunity is available for a Kitchen Assistant to join a professional kitchen team.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and well-organised kitchen while supporting the chefs and kitchen team with daily operations.
Duties will include:
• Washing and cleaning all kitchen utensils, cookware, dishes, and equipment promptly and thoroughly.
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the kitchen.
• Cleaning kitchen floors, work surfaces, storage areas, and waste disposal areas.
• Assisting chefs with basic food preparation tasks, such as peeling and preparing vegetables and other ingredients.
• Managing waste disposal and recycling according to workplace health and safety requirements.
• Receiving deliveries and assisting with the correct storage and organisation of stock.
• Ensuring stock is properly rotated to help prevent unnecessary waste.
• Keeping a constant supply of clean dishes, utensils, and cookware available during busy service periods.
• Supporting chefs and other kitchen staff with general duties when required.
• Following all food safety, hygiene, and workplace health and safety procedures.
