Kaizer Chiefs have had successive successful transfer windows under Nasreddine Nabi, signing Gaston Sirino in the offseason and Makabi Lilepo in January.

The Soweto giants are looking to add more inventory in the winter as they continue to revamp the squad and install some consistency. They sit eighth on the log, twenty-six points off league leaders Mamelodi Sundowns.

While nothing is confirmed, here’s my take on their top three transfer targets.

Muzomuhle Khanyi

Hungry Lions striker Muzomuhle Khanyi is making a name for himself in the Second Division, leading the league in goals with sixteen in eighteen games.

Kaizer Chiefs want to sign a prolific scorer, and Khanyi could be their answer.

According to reports, Orlando Pirates and Kaizer Chiefs are both monitoring the 25-year-old.

Feisal Salum

Kaizer Chiefs coach Nasreddine Nabi has wanted Feisal Salum since joining last offseason. The two enjoyed a few years together at Young Africans.

The 27-year-old Tanzanian international has informed Azam FC that he will not extend his contract after the season, making him a free agent, fuelling speculation of a Nabi-Salum reunion.

“Feisal Salum has made his decision and informed the club that he will not extend his contract,” Africafoot.com reported.

“He is enjoying his experience at Azam, a big club, but he wants to explore new opportunities at the end of the season,

“A move to Kaizer Chiefs? It is still too early to say for sure, but it is a very serious possibility.”

Fawaaz Basadien

AmaKhosi may have fallen short in the signing of Stellenbosch star Fawaaz Basadien, but that doesn’t mean they have given up.

“They are still looking at signing another left back in the next transfer window period and their main target is Stellenbosch FC left back Fawaaz Basadien,” SoccerLaduma confirmed.

Who else should Kaizer Chiefs target?
