There have been so many talks of incomings and outgoings at Kaizer Chiefs but there will be retentions too.

Chiefs are believed to be looking at the current window in order to make decisions that will impact their future.

Chiefs set for squad revamp

There have been rumours linking players to Chiefs this window. The likes of Feisal Salum, Oswin Appollis, Thabang Matuludi, Ruben del Campo, Thabo Cele and Sandile Mabuya of late. There have also been player who are thought to be in danger of leaving the club. Names like Zitha Kwinika, Mduduzi Mdantsane, George Matlou, Pule Mmodi, Happy Mashiane, Tebogo Potsane, Dillan Solomons. There could even be the likes of Bongani Sam, Given Msimango and Ranga Chivaviro.

Then there are players that have reportedly been offered new deals to keep them at Chiefs. The likes of young academy duo Mduduzi Shabalala and Wandile Duba being the latest. Now the latest player who looks set to be added to that list is long-serving right back Reeve Frosler. Earlier this week, this publication reported that the player was at a crossroads with his future at the club.

His contract at Chiefs is set to expire at the end of current season. According to Soccer-Laduma, Frosler will be offered a new deal at the Soweto giants!

Frosler set to be retained?

“It’s a good deal. It’s one that both parties are happy with. They have been negotiating for some time now and they have finally reached a two-year new contract offer, with a one-year option. However the option will depend on how he (Frosler) performs in the next two seasons. But looking at how he has been performing, that is possible. He has been one of the most consistent Chiefs players if you look at statistics. So for now, they have agreed on a two-year deal,” said the source to the same publication.

Chiefs fans are you happy to have Frosler staying for the long-run? Feel free to leave your thoughts and feelings in the comments below?
