Kaizer Chiefs FC are searching desperately for a solution to their attacking crisis.

The Glamour Boys are struggling to find the back of the net this season, having scored just 17 goals in 14 league games.

And now, a 32-year-old Brazilian striker has expressed interest in joining the club!

Pablo Felipe Teixeira, who has featured for the likes of Sao Paulo, Real Madrid Castilla and Cerezo Osaka in the past, wants to move to South Africa.

Pablo wants Kaizer Chiefs transfer

According to local publication Soccer Laduma, Pablo Felipe Teixeira has put his hand up for a move to Kaizer Chiefs.

Mamelodi Sundowns and Orlando Pirates have also been alerted regarding Pablo’s availability.

“The player’s name is Pablo Felipe Teixeira, and he is keen on a move to the PSL. He is a good player who can fit in at any of the big clubs in the PSL,” an insider told Soccer Laduma.

“Attempts have been made to let big clubs such as Chiefs, Pirates and Sundowns aware of the player’s availability and his camp will take it from there even if it will be for the next transfer window.”

In other news, Kaizer Chiefs management are rushing to secure the future of one of their top academy stars.

Nasreddine Nabi has not been shy to throw youngsters into the deep-end this season, and that looks set to continue.

Amakhosi reserve team striker Naledi Hlongwane is the latest star on the talent conveyor belt at Naturena!

The Kaizer Chiefs youngster made a name for himself after scoring a brace for the Carling All Stars team in their triumph over Magesi FC. He was named Man-of-The-Match, bagging a handsome R100 000 in prize money.

Hlongwane set to wear Jersey 35 for Chiefs

“What I can tell you now is that the promotion process is as good as done. They have already allocated jersey number 35 to him and he traveled with the team to Durban for the game against Sekhukhune United,” an insider told Soccer Laduma regarding the Kaizer Chiefs youngster.

“It was thought that he was supposed to have played in that game but they changed the decision in the last minute.

“Yes, coming to the contract, it’s an initial three-year senior team contract and it will run until June 2028. So, yes, things are working out for the youngsters at Chiefs right now.”
