The South African-Uruguayan winger is now 34. Sirino was born on 22 February 1991 in Montevideo, Uruguay.

He had a small party which close relatives and fellow footballers attended. Some stars spotted in the mix included Sundowns star Lucas Ribeiro and Kaizer Chiefs star Inacio Miguel.

Gaston Sirino started off his youth career with Penarol in North America. His unmatched flair and command of the game saw him switching the floor to Rammpla Juniors.

From Juniors, he starred for several clubs, including Union San Felipe, San Luis and Bolivar, before joining DStv Premier League champions Mamelodi Sundowns in 2018.

Gaston Sirino won big with Mamelodi Sundowns and made over 100 club appearances before joining Kaizer Chiefs. With Sundowns, Sirino won the DStv Premier League more than five times.

The star has also lifted the Nedbank Cup twice, the Telkom Knockout and MTN 8 Cup with Sundowns.

In August 2024, the star made headlines when he joined Kaizer Chiefs on a free transfer from Mamelodi Sundowns.

The offensive midfielder, who has been in South Africa for over six years, penned a two-year contract with the Glamour Boys.
