The former Amakhosi star turned football executive has given a positive update amidst growing concerns by fans.

However, Nabi has struggled to hit the ground running and many fans believe it’s because of a lack of quality players at Naturena.
Will Chiefs be dipping into the transfer market for reinforcements? Kaizer Motaung Jnr has confirmed that the club are pushing hard to sign the best available players!
Kaizer Chiefs targeting a top striker
Amakhosi’s Sporting Director has confirmed that the Glamour Boys are going all out to sign a top striker for Nasreddine Nabi, one that will convert the chances they’re creating!
“Whether it’s January, or June, it’s the same. Clubs always want to have their best players. We must negotiate and identify and close deals. That’s our responsibility.” the Kaizer Chiefs top boss said as quoted by IDiski Times.
“So having said that, offensively is definitely an area that since the beginning of the season, we want goals, we wants goals and we don’t want to concede.
“I think that’s the one position most clubs every year, internationally, locally, are always looking at a competitive advantage. So we’re definitely looking up front, looking at attacking options.”
In other related news, Kaizer Chiefs look set to miss out on signing one of Nasreddine Nabi’s top transfer targets.
26-year-old Tanzanian attacking midfielder Feisal Salum has strongly been linked with a move to Naturena during recent weeks.
Salum, who enjoyed a glorious spell under Nasreddine Nabi at Young Africans, is one of the Tunisian’s priority targets.
However, his current club Azam FC have slapped a staggering price tag on him!
According to the latest reports, Kaizer Chiefs’ improved offer for Salum was rejected as the Tanzanian side are holding out for their R40 million valuation.
Azam FC ask Chiefs to cough up R40 million for Salum
“Chiefs are said to have offered Azam a significant offer for the 26-year-old, but the offer falls short of the R40 million evaluation by the club for the Tanzanian international,” the Citizen reported.
“Unless Chiefs offer what Azam wants, I don’t see the deal happening anytime soon. What’s more, Feisal wants to stay in Tanzania and with Simba also interested, it seems he’s likely to join them,” a source told the same publication.
According to reputable African football journalist Micky Jnr, Kaizer Chiefs tabled an offer worth approximately R6 million for Salum, which was rejected by Azam FC.
