Former Kaizer Chiefs winger Junior Khanye stated that Amakhosi were exposed by SuperSport United on Tuesday evening.

The Glamour Boys went down 4-1 to Matsatsantsa at the FNB Stadium in a Betway Premiership match.

“They were exposed today, we can’t lie. They thought they were on the right track even the coach but they were exposed in all elements.”

Kaizer Chiefs suffer another defeat

“Going to the Sundowns game, Chiefs will play the game with atleast seven defensive players. For me, Nabi will go for a draw against Sundowns,” he said.

Khanye also criticised Kaizer Chiefs attacker Pule Mmodi. The 31-year-old had a quiet game and was substituted early by Amakhosi coach Nasreddine Nabi.

“It was not necessarily a tactical change,” the Kaizer Chiefs coach said.

“We noticed that most of the players were not in the game. If I had the chance to substitute six or seven players, I could have done it. I could see that Mmodi has given a lot in the previous game and today already in the early minutes I could see that he was not in the game and he was tired.

“But as I said, if I could change six or seven players, I would’ve done so,” Nabi concluded.

Kaizer Chiefs next play Mamelodi Sundowns in their next league clash.
