Keyshia Cole SA tour will ‘not go ahead’ after LA fires
American singer Keyshia Cole’s South African tour will not be going on due to her being impacted by the Los Angeles wildfires.
KEYSHIA COLE’S SA TOUR CANCELLED
Let it Go hitmaker Keyshia Cole was set to perform in Pretoria, Johannesburg and Cape Town from 24 – 26 January. However, her three-city tour has been cancelled as she was directly impacted by the Los Angeles wildfires. According to a media release, the singer has lost her home during this tragic time.
“Due to the recent devastating fires in Los Angeles, Keyshia Cole’s highly anticipated South African tour, set to take place later this month, will not go ahead as initially planned. The artist has been directly affected by the ongoing tragedy, including the loss of her home, and as a result, she is unable to proceed with her scheduled performance,” read the press release.
The tour has not been cancelled nor postponed at the current time, but it has been called off for now. Further details are expected to follow.
“Together with her team, we have been working tirelessly to assess the situation, and in light of these unexpected and heartbreaking events, the difficult decision was made to call off the tour. The decision regarding a way forward will be finalised as soon as possible, and further details will be shared with fans by the end of next week,” read the press released.
The promoters of the concert have stated that the well being of Keyshia and her family are of the utmost importance during this difficult time.
