Role Overview

This trainee position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals eager to develop their skills in customer service and operational coordination within a global testing environment. Over the course of a 12-month fixed-term contract, trainees will learn the essential techniques to deliver exceptional service, manage customer inquiries, and support the seamless conduct of IELTS online exams.

Successful completion of this training period can serve as a stepping stone to a permanent role as an Operations or Customer Service Executive within the IELTS process, opening pathways to a rewarding career in international education services.

Key Responsibilities

Trainees will serve as the first point of contact for test takers, providing guidance throughout the registration process, explaining the features of IELTS online exams, and managing refunds, transfers, and cancellations. They will handle customer queries with professionalism, ensuring each interaction upholds British Council quality standards.

Operational tasks include managing various stages of the customer journey—pre-test preparation, test day management, and post-test activities. This involves maintaining accurate reports, supporting examiner planning, assisting with candidate reconciliation, and ensuring timely declaration of results.

In addition, trainees will be trained to adhere strictly to information security policies, escalate incidents of non-compliance, and follow organizational codes of conduct and IT policies. Flexibility, adaptability to different IT systems, and proficiency in tools like Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Outlook) are essential.

Who Can Apply?

The ideal candidates are freshers or individuals with up to one year of work experience, preferably with experience in voice processes. A minimum graduation score of 50% is required. This role is perfect for motivated, self-starters willing to work in a 24/7 shift environment, including nights, with two days off per week. The position is based in Noida, and candidates must have the legal right to work in India without immigration or visa support.

Compensation and Contract Details

This is a fixed-term contract for one year, offering a fixed salary of INR 2.73 LPA. The role falls under Pay Band 3/I, with a non-negotiable salary. Candidates should be prepared for rotating shifts, and flexibility is a must to accommodate the demands of the testing schedule.
