About Moshal Scholarship Bursary
Moshal is currently accepting applications for 2025 academic year Scholarship bursaries.
Scholarships will be awarded for Degree studies within STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) and Commerce fields, at selected universities:
Science:
- Dentistry
- Medicine (MBChB)
- Pharmacy (only at the University of KwaZulu-Natal)
- Veterinary Science
Technology:
- Computer Science
- Data Science
- Information Science
- Information Systems
- Information Technology
Engineering:
- Biomedical Engineering
- Chemical Engineering
- Civil Engineering
- Electrical Engineering
- Electronic Engineering
- Mechanical Engineering
- Mechatronic Engineering
Mathematics:
- Actuarial Science
- Econometrics
- Mathematics
- Statistics
Commerce:
- Accounting
- Economics
- Financial Sciences
- Investment Management
- Management Sciences
The scholarship will provide cover for the following expenses: full tuition funding, living and meal allowances, as well as the following benefits:

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
Applicants must satisfy the following minimum entry criteria before applying:
- You must be in Matric or have completed Matric
- You must be studying or intend on studying towards a Degree within one of the fields listed above, in 2025
- You must be studying or have been accepted to study at one of the following selected universities: Nelson Mandela University (NMU), Rhodes University (RU), Stellenbosch University (SUN), University of Cape Town (UCT), University of Free State (UFS), University of Johannesburg (UJ), University of KwaZulu-Natal (UKZN), University of Pretoria (UP), University of the Western Cape (UWC) and University of Witwatersrand (WITS)
- You must have achieved a minimum result of 70% for English, Mathematics, Physical Science and/or Accounting
- You must be in financial need, with a family income of NOT more than R200 000 per annum (before deductions)
