Job Description
As a Sales Representative for New Vehicles at Motus Toyota Kempton Park, you will report directly to the Manager: New Vehicle Sales. This position is tailored for individuals with a proven track record in vehicle sales and a strong commitment to providing excellent customer service. Your focus will be on managing customer relationships effectively while driving sales and achieving targets.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks that are essential for the success of the Sales Department, including:
Customer and Sale Management
- Engagement: Actively engage with customers to understand their needs and preferences in selecting their new vehicles.
- Customized Solutions: Provide tailored solutions to meet customer requirements, ensuring satisfaction and retention.
Knowledge and Compliance
- Industry Compliance: Demonstrate an understanding of compliance regulations governing the motor retail industry, which will significantly enhance your ability to serve customers effectively.
- Motor Industry Insight: Utilize your knowledge of the competitive motor industry to make informed recommendations and stay ahead of market trends.
Client Development
- Cold Calling: Use cold calling techniques to develop a robust client base, helping expand our outreach and sales potential.
- Maintaining Relationships: Establish and maintain relationships with existing clients, leveraging these connections to enhance loyalty and service delivery.
Achievement of Sales Targets
- Sales Strategy: Develop business strategies aimed at reaching set monthly sales targets.
- Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze sales performance and adjust strategies accordingly to ensure target achievement.
Marketing and Promotions
- Execution of Promotions: Oversee marketing initiatives and promotional activities to attract new customers and retain current ones.
- Customer Expectations: Manage customer expectations effectively, ensuring a seamless and satisfactory purchase experience.
Qualifications and Experience
To qualify for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Educational Requirements: A minimum of Grade 12 is required.
- Criminal Record: A clear criminal record is essential for this position, reflecting your trustworthiness and reliability.
- Driver’s License: A valid driver’s license is mandatory to facilitate customer interactions and vehicle deliveries.
- Sales Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience as a sales executive in the automotive industry is required to effectively navigate the complexities of the sales process.
