Job Description
- The Senior Consultant Engineer is a highly experienced technical
expert who leads the technical design, architecture, and oversight of
implementation of complex solutions within the Business Line (BL).
- While they do not have direct reports, they play a crucial role in
providing technical leadership and mentorship to peers and junior
engineers. They serve as the technical authority within the team,
guiding projects from a specialist perspective and ensuring that
solutions are designed and implemented to the highest industry
standards.
- The role focuses heavily on innovative problem-solving, optimizing

future-proofed solutions. His role collaborates closely with the Senior
Manager, though their main focus is on the technical direction, rather

Responsibilities
Strategic Input
• Translate the CS Business strategic plan into strategic deliverables.

- Conduct research and provide opinions and advice regarding all labour law related issues, including transactional and contractual matters including transfer of employment, restructures and retrenchments

Education
- Bachelors degree in Commerce, Marketing, Communication or related area
- Post Graduate qualification advantageous
Experience
- Minimum 8 years’ experience including:
- Minimum 3 years of Senior Management Experience
- Minimum 5 years managing staff
- Work across diverse cultures and geographies
- Experience in Telco/ Techco industry
- In depth understanding of MTNs products and services
- Experience with Digital marketing strategy development and execution
- Successful track record in Digital Marketing and campaign management
- Good understanding of the digital / social media landscape

Mission/ Core purpose of the Job:
The Senior Specialist: BI Reporting and Analytics will ingest and analyze data from multiple sources and create reports to translate business needs into meaningful insights. Responsible for using innovative and modern tools and techniques to automate the most-common, repeatable, and tedious data preparation tasks and reports.
Supports the senior leadership with insights, management reports, and analysis for decision-making processes.

Education / Business Degree
Minimum of 3-year tertiary degree in IT, Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related quantitative field

Work Experience
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a BI reporting and analytics environment, with experience in a complex, technology-oriented industry.
Minimum 5 years working with SAS, SQL, Python, R (or similar), Power BI.
Minimum 5 years’ experience working with complex data and performance frameworks.
Minimum 3 years working experience on big data environments, tools, and techniques.
Experience in scripting languages and advanced analytical software to solve complex business problems.
