As part of the social responsibility initiatives, the National Nuclear Regulator [NNR] provides opportunities to unemployed graduates to receive workplace skills and experience.

Closing date: October 2024
Location: Centurion, Gauteng

Requirements

  • Grade12
  • NQF Level 6 (National Diploma) in one of these qualifications (Safety Management/Built Environment/Facilities Management)
  • No working experience, graduate in search of internship to gain experience
  • Not have participated previously in any formal employment or internship/learnership programme
  • Be a South African citizen
  • Must be unemployed graduate under the age of 35

Skills Development and Training focus areas

  • Implementing OHS management plan
  • Implementing Facilities management plan
  • Administering claims for compensation with regard to injuries on duty and occupational diseases.
  • Compliance with the building legislation
  • Compliance with OHS Act and Regulations
  • Reporting accidents to the Department of Labour
  • Compliance with Service Level Agreements on all contractors
  • Medical Surveillance Programme
  • Attending specification and evaluation committee meetings
  • Submitting quotations using e-workflow
  • Submitting requests for Purchase Orders and invoices for approval to Finance for payments
