Requirements
- Grade12
- NQF Level 6 (National Diploma) in one of these qualifications (Safety Management/Built Environment/Facilities Management)
- No working experience, graduate in search of internship to gain experience
- Not have participated previously in any formal employment or internship/learnership programme
- Be a South African citizen
- Must be unemployed graduate under the age of 35
Skills Development and Training focus areas
- Implementing OHS management plan
- Implementing Facilities management plan
- Administering claims for compensation with regard to injuries on duty and occupational diseases.
- Compliance with the building legislation
- Compliance with OHS Act and Regulations
- Reporting accidents to the Department of Labour
- Compliance with Service Level Agreements on all contractors
- Medical Surveillance Programme
- Attending specification and evaluation committee meetings
- Submitting quotations using e-workflow
- Submitting requests for Purchase Orders and invoices for approval to Finance for payments

- Good organisational and time management skills
- Able to work under pressure
