Your Role as a Call Centre Agent

As a Call Centre Agent at Pedros, your main task is to handle incoming calls from customers. You’ll be providing information about our menu, services, and policies, ensuring that every caller gets the best service possible. Here’s a closer look at what you’ll be doing:

  • Mastering the Menu: You’ll need to know our menu inside and out! Customers rely on you for recommendations, so being familiar with our dishes, ingredients, and special offers is crucial.
  • Order Management: Taking orders over the phone for delivery and collection is a big part of your job. You’ll ensure every order is recorded accurately, including any special instructions, and coordinate with the store to make it happen.
  • Customer Support: Sometimes customers will call to modify their orders or make special requests. You’ll be the one to help them out and make sure the store is updated on any changes.
  • Boosting Sales: Love a challenge? You’ll also be looking for opportunities to upsell or cross-sell menu items. Whether it’s suggesting a side dish or a dessert, your goal is to enhance the customer’s experience and increase sales.

What You Need to Succeed

We’re looking for someone who’s ready to bring their A-game to our team. Here’s what you’ll need:

  • Education: A Matric certificate is essential.
  • Tech Skills: You should be comfortable using a computer and have good phone etiquette.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal skills are a must.
  • Experience: If you’ve worked in a call center or have experience with inbound calls, that’s a huge plus!
