Role Purpose

The Sales Agent will generate income and maximize profit through sales and excellent customer service, using prospecting and merchandising to attract and retain customers at Russells in Frankfort.

Key Duties

• Perform sales activities, including prospecting and cold canvassing, to generate sales.
• Attract and retain customers through effective merchandising displays.
• Engage with customers in a customer-centric manner to build trust and loyalty.
• Meet sales targets to maximize commission earnings.
• Adhere to business policies and procedures during sales activities.

Eligibility Criteria

• South African citizen with a valid ID and work authorization.
• Grade 12 (Matric) certificate.
• No prior experience required (training provided).
• Employment Equity candidate (e.g., Black, Coloured, Indian, women).
• Clean criminal and credit record, verified via background checks.

Required Skills

• Basic knowledge of sales and prospecting (training provided).
• Self-motivation, drive, and energy to meet sales targets.
• Customer service orientation with strong interpersonal skills.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Courage, confidence, and personal resilience in a competitive environment.

Preferences

• Residents of Frankfort or nearby Free State areas.
• Proficiency in English and one other South African language (e.g., Sesotho).
• Availability to work flexible retail hours, including weekends.
