No doubt some fans found it wild since the two are rivals and have yet to square off in one of the biggest PSL encounters of the season.

Log leaders Mamelodi Sundowns will face Kaizer Chiefs on 1 March. The match is a must-win for the two clubs.

Sundowns hope to extend their lead, while Chiefs hope to close in on the top four teams. Others believed it was a warm gesture since he had played for the two teams.
