‘Pitso Mosimane is not a fly-by-night coach’
Egyptian agent Amr Hosni has praised South African coach Pitso Mosimane for the work he has done especially at Al Ahly.
Mosimane is currently without a job having left Iran outfit Esteghlal after a breach of contract. Before moving to Iran, ‘Jingles’ coached in the Saudi Pro League but it was with Al Ahly and Mamelodi Sundowns that he made his name.
Hosni said Pitso Mosimane need a stable project where he can stay at a club for long.
“Pitso is still held in high esteem here in Egypt as someone who worked at Ahly. Based on money that he was earning at Ahly, where coaches get a lot of money, it means his options in this market are limited if he is going to come at the same money,” he added.
“He was recently linked with Zamalek because of the good work he is known to do. I think he is now in need of a stable project, where he will stay long, instead of the ones that he has had, which run the risk of soiling his reputation.

“It doesn’t look good that he has been to so many clubs in such a short period. I feel Pitso has his reputation at stake now. He is not a fly-by-night coach. I feel it would make sense to consider the South African market or a national team job where he will work for at least three years,” Hosni said.
“The project has to be right for him instead of the jobs that he has had, where it seems he has not been trusted by his employers.”
Pitso Mosimane has been linked with various teams including Zamalek, Kaizer Chiefs and the Nigeria football team.
Where should Pitso go next?
