MAIN PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

• Responsible for serving customers and processing sales transactions, as well as certain stock related
• transactions.

CORE ACTIVITIES WILL INCLUDE

• Counter Sales – Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service.
• Warehouse – stock receiving – dispatching – picking off stock – stock takes
• Colour Matching
• Maintaining outstanding store condition and visual merchandising standards
• Health and Safety
• Receiving, processing and organizing shipments and deliveries accordingly
• Stock deliveries to customers

COMPETENCIES REQUIRED

• Basic understanding of sales principles and customer service practices
• Solid communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Product knowledge.
• Computer Literacy – Excel, Word and Outlook.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

• Grade 12.
• Valid driver’s license
• Minimum of 2-3 years retail experience

Excellent communication skills linked to high customer service standards.
Must be able to priorities orders – plan and organise accordingly.
Effective problem-solving abilities.
Ability to deal with customers at all levels, to build relationships and be committed to excellent service.
Results orientated approach.
Must be pro-active with good problem-solving skills in a dynamic environment.
Ability to be proactive and think “outside the box” in a fast-developing environment
